Company

managed-cluster.net, a brand of Cube-Hosting.net

In brief

managed-cluster.net is a brand of Cube-Hosting.net (owner: Jesse Röhsler, Gerolzhofen, Germany). We operate managed Proxmox and high-availability clusters in German data centers (Maincubes FRA01, NBG01 Nuremberg) on our own network, AS47263. Availability targets and response times are agreed in the operations contract, and our fixed prices are published: managed Proxmox clusters start at €449.99 net per month.

Who we are

Cube-Hosting.net: the company behind managed-cluster.net

managed-cluster.net is run by Cube-Hosting.net, owned by Jesse Röhsler and based in Gerolzhofen, Germany. Under this brand, we design, operate and monitor high-availability Proxmox clusters for businesses, with automatic failover, redundant storage and around-the-clock monitoring. Cube-Hosting also operates AS47263, the autonomous system your clusters are connected through.

Our services include managed Proxmox clusters with Ceph storage, backup and disaster recovery and migrations from VMware to Proxmox, plus managed servers and shop clusters for Shopware and Magento. You take care of your application; we take care of everything underneath it.

See our service model for how the four service areas fit into one operations contract at a fixed monthly price. You have a dedicated contact who knows your cluster.

Why our email address ends in cube-hosting.net

managed-cluster.net is a brand of Cube-Hosting.net, so sales, support, data protection and security inquiries all go to one company address: support@cube-hosting.net.

Infrastructure

An infrastructure chain you can verify

Your clusters run on named components you can check yourself: our own network, AS47263, whose prefixes and peerings you can check on bgp.tools; the Maincubes FRA01 data center as our main site; and NBG01 in Nuremberg as our second site. The FRA01 certifications are held by the operator, Maincubes, not by managed-cluster.net.

How we work

What you can hold us to

Six commitments make the way managed-cluster.net works verifiable, from a failover test before every handover to published fixed prices, separate backups and processing your cluster data exclusively in Germany. Availability, response and recovery targets are written into the operations contract, and each point links to a page with the details.

Commitments in the operations contract

We agree availability targets, response times by priority level and recovery targets with you: the recovery time objective (RTO) and the maximum tolerable data loss, the recovery point objective (RPO). We do not promise blanket uptime percentages without the architecture to back them.

Operations, monitoring and service levels

A failover test before every handover

Before a cluster goes live, we run a full failover test and record the result. During operations, we repeat the tests on a schedule agreed with you.

Failover testing and runbooks

Your documentation belongs to you

Architecture, access details and emergency plans are documented in writing and belong to you. The platform is built on Proxmox VE, KVM and Ceph.

Published fixed prices

Managed Proxmox clusters start at €449.99 net per month, as a fixed price covering setup, operations, monitoring, updates and support. We price Enterprise environments by data volume, RPO target and switchover time. All prices are net, plus VAT.

Our published fixed prices

Separate backups with restore tests

Backups run on infrastructure separate from the cluster, with defined retention periods and regular restore tests. A high-availability cluster is no substitute for backups.

Backup and disaster recovery

Your cluster data stays in Germany

We process and store your cluster data exclusively in Germany, backed by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR and contracts governed by German law.
