For us, managed means managed even on a single server: you take care of your application, we take care of everything underneath. Operating system, updates, hardening, monitoring and alerting are our responsibility – with the same operations team, the same German data centers and the same network AS47263 as our clusters.
And when your project grows, the infrastructure grows with it: with us, a managed server is the natural entry point to a later cluster – we handle the migration when the time comes.

The difference between a managed server and a managed cluster is redundancy: the single server is managed and monitored, but a hardware failure means an interruption until a replacement takes over. The cluster takes over automatically.
That is why our honest recommendation is: as long as a short interruption is tolerable, the managed server is enough – from €99.99 net instead of from €399.99. Once availability becomes business-critical, we migrate your application to a cluster without starting over: same environment, same team, same contact person.
FAQ
With a root server, you are the administrator: updates, security, monitoring and the 3 a.m. alert are yours. With a managed server, we take care of all of that – you work with your application, not on the operating system.
Yes – you get full transparency into your server environment and access by arrangement. Responsibility for stable operations clearly stays with us; changes to the system configuration are coordinated together.
