A single server is a concentration risk for a high-revenue shop: Black Friday, a TV spot or a newsletter campaign – and the site buckles at the very moment that matters most. Then there is day-to-day operation: every update, every deployment and every hardware failure becomes a maintenance window in the middle of business.
In a cluster, both problems disappear: multiple app nodes share the load and absorb peaks, the database runs replicated, and maintenance happens node by node during live operation – your customers keep buying while updates run in the background. If a node fails, the remaining ones take over automatically.

- Search: Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for Shopware 6 and Magento 2, sized to your catalog.
- HTTP caching & media: Varnish or HTTP cache and offloaded media, so the nodes have headroom for checkout and search.
- Staging environment: deployments and shop updates are tested before they go live.
- Performance tuning: OPcache, indexers, queue workers and database tuning – tailored to your shop, not by-the-numbers.
- 24/7 monitoring including checks from the customer's perspective: availability of homepage, search and checkout.

Frequently asked questions about the shop cluster.
Do you support Shopware 6 and Magento 2?
Yes – both platforms including their typical stack: PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and message queues. We also run older versions, but then talk openly about an upgrade path.
Who takes care of shop updates and plugins?
We are responsible for the platform: operating system, services, security, backups and performance. Shop code, plugins and shop updates remain with your agency or your team – we provide staging, deployment support and a direct line instead of ticket ping-pong.
How does the cluster absorb Black Friday load?
Through multiple app nodes behind the load balancer, HTTP caching for the catalog and a caching layer for sessions. Before plannable campaigns we deliberately scale the app layer up – and back down afterwards.
Is the shop cluster multi-site capable?
Yes, as an Enterprise option: replication across Frankfurt and Nuremberg with a documented switchover plan. The standard is redundancy within the primary location – what your shop needs is settled in the design phase.
Can you migrate our existing shop?
Yes. We analyze the existing environment, build the cluster in parallel, migrate data and media, and switch over in a planned, low-traffic window – with a rollback plan. We bring the experience from migration projects of all kinds.
